A lot of features were added since the last announcement post dating back from version 1.5!

Here is the top new stuff available today in version 1.7:

• Web publishing to SmugMug and Zenfolio.
• Updated RAW codecs with support for dozens of new camera models/
• Improved installer (remembers customizations, allows individual language selection)
• FTP upload action in the File Utilities plugin.
• Several new selection criterias and general enhancements to the batch processor.
• User-selectable background color.
• Random slideshows (Shift+A).
• Improved batch-delete function.
• View Filter feature, allows to browse only files having a certain rating, for example.
• Quickly change the sort order using F3.
• Realtime eydropper with shadow/highlight indicator and linked partial histogram.
• GPS coordinates gadget as well as general GPS awareness improvement throughout the product.
• Finalized IPTC editor with search-as-you-type dictionary-based keyword entry and reverse-geocoding.
• Many bug fixes and minor enhancements throughout.

The web-publishing subsystem allows users to publish photos directly to pro-grade photo-sharing websites such as SmugMug and Zenfolio (with more destinations to come in the future). The publishing function is able to perform on-the-fly format conversions to JPEG when necessary (so it can seamlessly publish RAW, TIFF and CGI files such as OpenEXR, DDS etc to websites that normally don't support these formats), as well as automatic color-space conversion to sRGB for consistent color viewing across all web browsers and devices. The publishing system is able to send files to multiple destinations simultaneously.
