How to tether shoot

Postby TimL on Tue Nov 25, 2008 4:30 pm

I'm having some problems getting my camera to shoot tethered usuing Fast Picture Viewer Pro. Can someone please give me some pointers? I'm shooting a Canon 50D and I'm using Windows XP. Thanks.

Hello Tim,

Canon just updated their EOS Utility to version 2.5.1 with 5DMkII and 50D support 3 days ago, you can use it to tether the camera and watch the destination folder in FPV Pro with the tracking function (T).

Drop me a mail on support@... and we'll discuss this. Thanks, Axel

You can always use the Canon EOS Utility and put FastPictureViewer in track mode (T) on the incoming folder. The end result is the same.
