NVidia NView problem

Postby peppe on Sun Oct 16, 2011 10:00 am

Hello all,

using NVidia Quadro FX570 w/ 276.14 tesla 64 bit drivers, on Windows 7 x64 professional seems to work very very well, except the case when I enable NVidia's included NView desktop manager (v136.02). When enabled, FastPictureViewer won't start at all, remaining a zombie process as an unseen window.

Killing the process and then disabling NView will return to normal functionality. Also tested w/ 257.89. Adding the app to the exclusions list only works for 257.89, not 276.14 (NView bug?).

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Short of reporting it to NView support, no. Fortunately they seem to have a built-in workaround for apps they fail to manage properly. If the workaround broke in some release they made you should definitely let them know.
