FPV Pro - tether 2 cameras?

Axel, is it possible to tether 2 cameras (nikon D3s) at the same time to FPV Pro?

I would rather use FPV for both, but I THINK I could accomplish the same thing by using FPV and and Nikon's Camera Control Pro to send images to the same folder. Not sure if they would share, though.

BTW, I LOVE FPV Pro, especially since I'm using win7 64 bit. I never think about tethering with Lightroom now.

Yes you can attach two (or more) cameras to USB ports and FPV should connect to them and pull images from all of them. We actually tested with 3 cameras and it worked just fine. The limitation is that all images lands in the same folder.

Make sure you change the naming prefix (the "DSC" part of the names) or the sequence number in each camera, if you later need to regroup the files. One thing to do is to synchronize the camera's clocks as accurately as possible so the chronological sequence is respected if you sort by time in FPV.

As a side note you can set the D3/D3s/D3x clocks with perfect accuracy using a GPS device like a Nikon GP-1, Solmeta, di-GPS etc, if you have such a gadget.

You cannot use Nikon CCP2 and FPV Pro tethering at the same time, however you can use Nikon CCP2 for tethering and FPV Pro for display, in tracking mode (T) on the incoming folder. With this setup FPV does not transfer the images but simply displays them automatically as they land to the monitored folder.
