Open file in the external editor

Good program, but there is one inconvenience: not possible to open currently viewed picture in the external editor like Photoshop by using some shortcut key. For example, ACDSee uses Ctrl+E for this. It might be really useful feature.

I vote for this as well. I use FastPictureViewer to browse my images but it's very inconvinient not to be able to launch a specific image in Photoshop for example to edit it...

This is planned for a future version. I have to enhance the plug-in interface a little before that, as this functionality will be provided as a plug-in.

In the meantime the closest workaround is to hit Ctrl+E, which opens an Explorer window with the current file selected. From there you can right-click the file name and open the image with the program of your choice.

This is one feature I really need, looking forward to it becoming available. :D

Are there any news regarding the external editor/program launcher?
Missing this really hard, since I want to quick edit pix just in the FPV session (without copying it to a temp folder first).

BTW: Where is the "simple program launcher" in the current version?

Thanks,
Daniel

As you quoted, it was implemented and released in build 77, about 6 months ago. Press E to open the External Editors (or right-click the taskbar and click External Editors in the context menu).

Right-click the lower part of the launcher's window to add your external program (Home Basic supports only one external program but the Pro version let you add several).

Ups, shame on me. Didn't know that there is a context menu on the taskbar...
Thanks!
