Slide-show background color

Postby karlmz on Sun Jul 03, 2011 6:58 pm

Hi,
Besides white, it would be nice to also be able to make the background of the slide-show gray or black, like in Photoshop.
Regards,
Karl

The background currently is black and there are no preference options to change that at this time.

A long overdue feature is to let users configure the background color. This was not forgotten and will appear in a future build.

"The background currently is black ..."

You must be taking about some different software then :D the best is to suggest this to their authors, that you can presumably find in the About box of the application...

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I just have the codec which, I guess, only extracts the embedded jpegs for the Windows Photo Viewer, and nothing more.

Absolutely. Codecs are not responsible for the actual display, they just provide the low-level file decompression services that application uses to open files they would not normally understand.

You can try the slideshow in Windows Media Center 6.1: you can change the background to be white, 50% gray or black.
