How To: Enable photo details view in Explorer?

I have used this codec for awhile and its quick, easy and integrates with almost anything.
One thing i'm missing is seeing more photo details in the lower part of an explorer window (I'm runnig Windows 7) while browsing photos..
Like you show in the before and after picture here:
By drilling down in properties of the photos I can see more details about each photo, so i know the info is there.
I just can't get it to show more than the basic's while browsing. :-(

Thanking in advance,
Best regards

Actually, our codecs expose the EXIF and IPTC metadata to Explorer. Many (but not all) of these properties are indexed by Windows Search and are thus available to locate the files (see Microsoft's advanced search tips).

Windows Explorer displays a number of fields in the lower pane of Explorer windows. Note that the pane's height can be adjusted with the mouse and that Explorer adapts the number of displayed items in function of the space available. If you want to see more items just increase the height. Of course, the images need to contain EXIF data and some don't (like CRW), in which case the codec exposes a minimal set.

I'd actually like an answer to this as well. In the photo on the link provided by the OP the information available in Windows Explorer has many fields which are not available when I view them, even when the bottom pane is extended fully. Your preview photo of Canon RAW image shows fields like "Comments - Add comments" and "Subject - Specify subject" along with all the other camera settings, ie aperture, ISO, shutter speed etc. These fields are the ones available when viewing Jpeg photos in Windows Explorer. You show them as available when viewing RAW photos in Windows Explorer. The information is embedded on the RAW file. So does your programme show it in Windows Explorer or is your example photo not a real example of what is available.

You may be viewing a format that does not contain such information, or you may be using another codec, for example Microsoft's or Canon's which are both deficient regarding the exposed metadata. Since there is no way to tell which codec is in use, it's easy to get confused. Format your hard-disk, install Windows + our Codec Pack and everything will work perfectly. What happens after that is out of our control.

Have you tried Right click on any of the column headings like Name. That should bring up a list. Hope it helps.
